Hello Everyone (New Traveler Incoming)

Hi Endeavor OS community, just installed Endeavor OS yesterday and so far everything is working well for me, I’ve been using Linux for around a year, mostly distro hopping around, Ubuntu, mint, Kubuntu, arch, cachy, Debian, EOS (first time), EOS (now) I’m happy to be here. And I’m willing to learn as long as you don’t explain things in an overly complicated way. Thanks for letting me join your merry band everyone

Welcome to the community :slight_smile:

Stick around and do lots of reading, there is much to learn.

We are usually pretty friendly I think :wink:

The kernel is connected to the iniitram, the systemd is connected to the shell, and such is the way :slight_smile: (joke) aka the old song:
Ankle bone connected to the shin bone

  • Shin bone connected to the knee bone
  • Knee bone connected to the thigh bone [1, 2]

Hello and welcome @Noble! :penguin_face::enos_flag:

I hope you stay for a while and don’t immediately hop on to the next linux distro. :wink:

Welcome aboard, @Noble!

I’m planning on sticking around I like EOS so far. The community is definitely friendlier than the Arch Community. Don’t take that the wrong way I love arch as a distro. Just not the community

Hi @Noble and welcome to the :enos:-Forum,!

That’s how it starts for everyone who signs up here. In the end, they stay for years :vulcan_salute:

Welcome to the :enos: forum @Noble :enos_flag:

Hi @Noble, welcome to the purple world! Sit down and enjoy a tea, while everything works fine.

True words. After many voyages, EndeavourOS is the one distro that kept me using Arch for longer than a year now, and counting… As a daily driver, even.

Welcome to your new endeavour(OS), @Noble!

hi Noble welcome and have fun
