As I am currently planning to do my next distro hop to EOS, I wanted to say hello to all the community members. This really looks like a very cozy and welcoming place to be!
I have been on and off Linux since high school (so quite some years) and I still consider myself somewhere between beginner and intermediate user when it comes to this outstanding OS (though a total fanboy last couple of years). I know Arch mainly from my past episodes with Manjaro and since I am also looking for some community to engage into, I find EOS a great candidate to try.
I am currently running Fedora 35 on my work machine and a dual-boot Ubuntu/Win11 on my personal machine. Preparing to swap Ubuntu to EOS while applying Luks encryption and btrfs while leaving Windows partition intact.
If you’re coming from a Fedora/Ubuntu background, I’m assuming you’ll probably look to install Gnome on EndeavourOS? If that’s the case, then I won’t be the only Gnome user here anymore!
All jokes aside, welcome to the forums @marknn and I hope your EndeavourOS install is a breeze
