Headphones stopped working suddenly

Hello,

since today my headphones stopped working. Plugging them in the headphone jack turns of the loudspeakers but no sound comes out of the headphones.
In the PulseAudio app, the volume is on.

I can not tell if this occurred only after a recent update, since I don’t always use my headphones.

Any help is appreciated.

Which “app” are you using here? If it’s pavucontrol, have you checked the other tabs?

Yes, I’ve checked all tabs in pavucontrol.
The channel is unmuted in alsamixer.
Still no sound.
(Rebooted and tried different headphones btw)
