HDMI pipewire output delay - follow up

Hi folks,

as this thread (HDMI audio initial delay - #3 by nbd) is already closed and I have the same problem I’d like to ask if somebody can give me his/her config file.

I have pipewire and pipewire-pulse installed and my config is in /usr subdirectory instead of /etc but my

/usr/share/pipewire/media-session.d
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 23. Dez 11:40 .
-rw-r–r-- 1 root root 0 23. Dez 10:36 with-alsa
-rw-r–r-- 1 root root 0 23. Dez 10:36 with-jack
-rw-r–r-- 1 root root 0 23. Dez 10:36 with-pulseaudio

just contains these 3 empty files. No *-monitor.conf files to put a property session.suspend-timeout-seconds with value 0 in - as described in solution of above mentioned thread.

Can anybody pls. help?

Thanks a lot! :upside_down_face:

This is what I have:

ls /usr/share/pipewire/media-session.d
alsa-monitor.conf bluez-monitor.conf media-session.conf v4l2-monitor.conf with-alsa with-jack with-pulseaudio

So you might need some other pipewire packeages if you don’t have these files.

do you have pipewire-alsa package installed
?

Do you perhaps use wireplumber instead of media-sessions?
Check this post, even though it’s Garuda it’ll probably still work:

@KDen, yes I have wireplumber. I’ll check your link. Thanks. For the moment I edited the script. I’ll see if I find a solution to put my “suspend-timeout-seconds” in a file.
