HDMI display popup configuration setting, but doesn't display on monitor

My problem is that, when I plug in a monitor to my laptop, or anything via HDMI, it pops up with the configuration screen, asking if I’d like to mirror my screen, display to the left/right etc, but when I select one it doesn’t work; or it goes away and keeps popping up multiple times. I had no problems with the HDMI when using windows 11 on the laptop. Any ideas as to how I can fix this/what’s exactly wrong?

You don’t seem to have any Nvidia driver. Can you show the output of commands

pacman -Q | grep nvidia
lsmod | grep nvidia

so we can see what’s installed and the related kernel modules.

I’m sorry for the late response! I ended up focusing on some other stuff and haven’t used my laptop which has endeavour on it for a while. The output of the commands is as follows:

I also tried to use the nvidia-inst as I found in another thread and got some errors I’m not sure how to properly fix, did some quick googling but I have a feeling it’s likely the same issue as what I was having here. This was the outcome of that.

You should remove those old electronNN packages.

Tip: while uninstalling them, be sure to check that no other package needs the particular electronNN package.
