For an old geezer, I am pretty tech savy My partner had an accident yesterday, she has broken her lower right arm in 3 places, one is a spiral fracture, and they have kept her in hospital.
I have just rung her, to talk me through putting the washer dryer on a drying cycle
What was even worse, yesterday I went to the wrong hospital. What is even more stupid, she is in the hospital next to where I work (I work for the National Health Service, but for the mental health trust).
Yeh, was a bit flustered yesterday, never even crossed my mind. @drunkenvicar - both, but there was wet washing in there that needed drying. Going to visit (the correct hospital!) today.
Haa, I remember about 2000, when I visited a friend at his home in Romania. No one in the family (but the mother) knew how to operate her washer and I needed to do some laundry.
I think I managed to figure it out. It had at least 20 buttons…never had anything (still) like that in my home.
Though personally, I think it’s best if EVERYONE in the household knows how to use everything (just in case)…
Well my mom taught me how to wash and dry clothes “Good knowledge to have she said”
Well she was right I lived alone for 10 years before meeting my Wife.
Is this one of those new multi washing machines that also dry the clothes? They are a washer dryer combo. Or you just couldn’t figure out the settings to run the clothes dryer? I only have the old school turn the dial push pull knobs.
Edit: At what age does one consider themselves an old geezer? I want to know if I’m getting close?
