look like composition of xfce it can turned off, there is a work around that should work, you got probably a amd gpu?
Maybe lack of storage?

for onscreen distortion this can help Xfce 4.14 Vega video graphics issue and fix
xfconf-query -c xfwm4 -p /general/vblank_mode -s off
xpresent can help too…
Are you trying to install it to the usb drive which is 8 GB? I see your hard drive is 1 Terrabyte.
I was installing it on hard drive.
It looks like it was trying to install on /dev/sdb? Your hard drive is /dev/sda.
I’ll retry with new installation disk!
That’s what it looks like to me. You have two issues. One being the garbled video because of the GPU and the other is the installation.
Your motherboard is UEFI so make sure you are installing with EFI set up. How are you creating the usb live ISO?
using dd method
If you have further issues when trying a new installation disk as @Resiliencia said “Please post the whole dmesg and xorg.log”
Thanks.
I was able to install endeavour successfully after manual partitioning & using new installation media.
But, as soon as I log in to the system, the screen becomes dead.
Also, Ctrl+Alt+Fn
combinations not showing anything.
I’m sorry to hear that it hasn’t gone according to plan. Are you able to edit the grub screen and add pci=noacpi
and try.
