Get plasma theming in Libreoffice

image

Saw an interesting thread which mentioned what to do on Arch:

Adapted from the Arch wiki:

Uncomment the SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=kf5 environment variable. This variables can be uncommented in /etc/profile.d/libreoffice-fresh.sh or /etc/profile.d/libreoffice-still.sh

There is no libreoffice-kde package on Arch-based distros, btw.

get kde theming is just change a script of libreoffice.

just edit /etc/profile.d/libreoffice-fresh.sh (or still) uncheck the # it takes the theme of chosen;

i think is something on manjaro to setup the theming in line :slight_smile:

So if you make this change it takes on the default theming in KDE?

kf5 was already installed on my machine so I just needed to uncomment the script as per the arch wiki link in the thread:

For the guys on Arch, read this. https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/LibreOffice#Theme

The line to be uncommented in the said file is given below.

SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=kf5
