I was away for about 10 days and ran approximately 180 updates on my return yesterday and this morning. Now I’ve noticed that Firefox can’t find my location on Google Maps any more.
I decided a few months ago to enable my location manually with Geoclue, since it wouldn’t work any other way. This involved disabling every method of geolocation source except for static-source in /etc/geoclue/geoclue.conf and setting latitude and longitude in a text file at /etc/geolocation.
Here’s the source directions I used, https://discussion.fedoraproject.org/t/geoclue-location-query-broken-due-to-mozilla-service-retirement/128262/3
Everything worked fine until this weekend. After the updates I noticed my location not working in Firefox anymore.
Does anyone have any information about this?
