An integrated GPU with all the codecs, that can play some games lowering some settings is what I need… I’m thinking more about prices and power usage.
I’m pretty happy with my setup.
As a tech lover, I’m watching closely… The new AI stuff that AMD is bringing to the table is also pretty cool…
they didn’t cut back performance wise.
The CPU’s that didn’t have integrated graphics in the past now have low performance ones integrated, simply to be able to get an image on screen without adding a dedicated GPU.
The ones that used to have the powerful integrated graphics in the past still have powerful integrated graphics (they get the G suffix like 5700G) - the 7000 lineup simply hasn’t seen any G CPU yet (they were always added rather late to the lineup) but they are expected to be released until the end of the year. Firmware support is expected to appear with AGESA 1.0.0.9 - currently we are at 1.0.0.7.b with 1.0.0.8 in beta.
