Not a photo, but I find it relatively interesting the recent (yesterday?) snow storm in Idaho and Montana basically on the last day of June.
I mean I know from being there you may have a snow shower any day in high elevations, then be 80F in an hour or two..but a real snow storm with 16 inches of snow fall?
The old lady’s family is in the FLX outside of Rochester and bracing for this “heat dome.” Up there it’s not the heat that’s stifling, it’s the humidity. The Ontario lake effect is so unpredictable. Saw more snow than usual when I spent the holidays there.
With the exception of clouds. Boy, do we get clouds… It’s the second-cloudiest city in the lower 48 after one of Pacific Northwest cities (I can never remember which).
I love Monsoon season, get some really awesome thunderstorms here in the mountains.
I noticed that the rain in the icons on your first image flow down from right to left, but in your second image, they flow down from left to right. Is this becasue the second one is in French? ![]()
hahaha… it’s the icons themselves there isn’t really a standard for this to my knowledge. Environment Canada has their own icons. The icons on my PWS are from the theme i’m using… they are made that way. The theme is normally in english it’s belchertown theme for Weewx but translated.
