Firefox lags my entire system

WE don’t install flatpaks on the system

A lot are dependencies that are installed by flatpak when you ask to install a flatpak application.

PS: Don’t know what’s going on in this thread, few persons with helpful answers and a lot of noise criticizing various aspects of the system that have nothing to do with the original problem. Usually esp. Newbie threads are more focused.

Haven’t you noticed that the problem was already marked as solved ?

I already saw the state of the thread before it was marked solved.

Well the only thing I can say to this is that we are on a forum, and are not help desk employees.

You don’t get paid?

Well let me check my bank account… no could not find any payment from this forum :sob:

My bad, I forgot the system doesn’t even come with flatpak installed.
Either way it’s not something that bothers me so i don’t wanna pay any attention to it…

@Frakits

Add some swap space to your system. You may think that you have enough RAM and that is not needed but your system will thank you for that.

This is so strange to me. In all the years of using Linux and Firefox I never have had a problem with ram being used up. :person_shrugging:

Edit: Firefox doesn’t lag!
