Extra Inputs when using KDE and Wayland

I recently installed EndeavourOS and am having some issues with extra inputs. This appears to be specific to KDE and/or Wayland.

I’ve noticed that it will spam enter quite a bit in the terminal. Another one that is odd is that when I open neovim it will start pressing down, even though I’m not pressing the down arrow.

I did a fresh install with cinnamon and X11, when I did these issues went away. Which leads me to believe there’s something in my setup that KDE/Wayland doesn’t like. I’m new to Wayland, but IIRC it does handle inputs differently than X11 correct?

What are some good things to check regarding what might be causing my input issues? I searched the forums and the other instance of this I found only had a couple responses, one of which was simply trying a different keyboard. I currently use a QMK/VIA keyboard and don’t think that should be an issue.

Well after some additional testing I’m surprised to say that it appears that it was a port issue. I unplugged my keyboard and mouse from one usb port to another and everything started working.

I did eventually see some input issues using x11 and cinnamon, but it took longer than when using KDE. This seems to be resolved now that I’ve swapped from a usb2.0 to 3.0 port.
