Am I being stupid but should something happen when I run eww. I created a config .xml and and .sccs and it recognises it, but like nothing happens.
Shouldn’t my widgets how up you know?
more background would help 
widget is kinda spread and wide.

Nwm, I solved it. Launching eww launches the daemon from which one makes exacutbale scripts for each widegt which you launch. Running eww simply launches a daemon which I didn’t understand.
Now I’m the mission to get work propely with sway!!
