I need help every time I type it closes the installer menu
We need more info preferably with logs and screenshots so that people know what is going on.
Please describe the steps to reproduce your issue
?
It could be you need to give some better info on exactly what is your issue, may it doe snot need logs but at least some info on where exactly this happens, and what exactly is the issue you are facing.
When I try to do the full installing of the os I get to the point where I need to create a user and every time I try to type something it closes the menu
it closes the menu or the installer crashes?
If so how do you create the install media (USB) ?
and to put it out of the issues some info about the hardware could help… you could run this from LiveISO:
inxi -Fxxc0z --no-host | eos-sendlog
and post the short URL it creates inside terminal here so we can have a look.
The installer is also creating a log you could share in the same fashion:
cat ~/endeavour-install.log | eos-sendlog

input/output error shown in terminal on using the binary from the ISO … this looks like corrupted image or USB device is gone EOL
Should get a new usb or just re install the image in to my old usb?
how old is the usb stick is the question
If it old better get a new one, if not first check the image
sha512sum -c EndeavourOS_Apollo_22_1.iso.sha512sum
https://mirror.alpix.eu/endeavouros/iso/EndeavourOS_Apollo_22_1.iso.sha512sum
and use one of the methods to create the USB stick from our wiki.
@Datboss420 Could try a reflash and see, failing that new usb drive!
How are you writing your usb key? BEtcher? Edit: check check sum.

Yes I am writing with balenaecther. How do I check “sum”?
It is there in the latest release page from where you downloaded your ISO.
I would suggest you to read it in full again .
sha512sum -c EndeavourOS_Apollo_22_1.iso.sha512sum
this is known to caus issues also… was working nice in the past but the last 3 versions giving issue sto a lot users…
Reflash worked thanks a lot to all of you
