Error messages when booting kernel 6.14, the 2nd

Unfortunately not, because I have now uninstalled btrfs-maintenance again. Defragmentation is out of the question for me with an SSD and I prefer to do Scrub & Balance manually.

But the fact is that the problem does not occur when the 5.15.90 kernel is running

But about the settings in btrfs-maintenance: I had both scrub and balance enabled only for /, not for all subvolumes.

I don’t like anything automatic running here too, everything here is done manually, once a month.

If the problem is Kernel, this problem would be happening to more users and so far, only both of us reported it…

But it is obvious that there must be a connection here. With the LTS kernel I can run Balance manually as often as I want and the swapfile remains.

Hm, I was wondering if swap was selected there… So I really don’t know…

Indeed that is weird, as soon as I have some time, I’ll try to replicate that here.
How are you running balance?

Would be good if @dalto would look over here again …

thanks anyway my friend :slightly_smiling_face:
