Eos-update-notifier shows 1 AUR update but pacman and yay doesn't

I updated my i3 system this morning using sudo pacman -Syu as I always do and rebooted. After my computer rebooted, the eos-update-notifier said I had 1 AUR update available. This is weird cause when I did another update using sudo pacman -Syu the system said there’s nothing to do. I also tried the ‘Update System (yay)’ button from the welcome app and that brought up nothing to do. The ‘operation test’ on the ‘configure eos-update-notifier’ from the welcome app says i have 1 AUR update available. Yay got updated today to version 12, does that have anything to do with it? What am I suppose to do in this instance? Any help would be greatly appreciated
EDIT: I should also mention I have never downloaded any packages from the AUR. i don’t use the AUR.

What is the full output of yay -Sua --devel ?

[cc@computer ~]$ yay -Sua --devel

 there is nothing to do

This is happening with me too. Started today.

I confirm with me it also occurs

A new version of yay-12.0.0-1- x86_64.pkg.tar.zst was released 7 hours ago in this repo

Coincidence ?

Pudge

EDIT:
Downgrade yay to 11.3.2-1 and see if it still happens

Nope
yay got more verbose when running yay -Qua

@manuel You might want to use yay -Quaq instead.

Thanks!
Looks like the new yay version has changed, so a fix is needed.
Will do it probably tomorrow.

The fix to this issue was a new release of yay today.
The problem was the output of yay changed in yesterday’s release, and today’s yay release fixed that.

So please test and report!
