@anon22523794 Check and make sure you have wget installed.

yes it is installed…

wget
wget: missing URL
Usage: wget [OPTION]… [URL]…

Try `wget --help’ for more options.

I tried reinstalling eos-update-notifier as well and that did not help.

Do you have the welcome screen installed? The welcome screen comes up when you reboot or start up the computer or if you log out and back in. It is a dependency for eos-update-notifier

I did the update yesterday in following the steps in removing Kalu etc… and I have exatly the same Checksum failed ! Same result with systemctl.

I redid a keyring in case, reboot but still the same. The system is updated, no error, I saw the eos-update-notifier updated, no error.

Yes the EOS GREETER works…

Did you try reboot the system?

Hi guys,
thanks for reporting the issue, and sorry about this. It is purely my fault, caused by the update I made yesterday. It is currently not handling checksums properly. I’ll fix this a.s.a.p.

OK, the new version 0.5-14 should fix the issue.

Again, sorry about that. The algorithm to manage the checksums was flawed, now it is much better.

I will test it in few minutes, no problem with that @manuel, all the rest is running like a charm. I used Deepin (Debian) for years cause I found it fast but I have to say, EOS is running faster. :rocket:
