I have a package named “eos-shifttime” in my install script, but can no longer find it.
A reference on what is is supposed to be:
I assume the package has been renamed or discontinued, but do not find mention of it in these boards. Does anyone know what’s become of it?

The latest reference to eos-shifttime that I found in the forum is the following post which is from 27 days ago:
EndeavourOS has a helper for that too Try eos-shifttime for reverting (and/or read our wiki about the choices…)
But looking at the packages from EnOS repo, I don’t see any package with that name.

It says in the wiki:
Actually – this item has been upgraded and error-checked into an actual EndeavourOS application, eos-shifttime .
Did it became an actual EndeavourOS application but never made it to EnOS’ repo?
@manuel could give a hint ?

Strange - it WAS in the EndeavourOS repo (and propagated to all my builds with EnOS repo enabled) - but I don’t see it in there now. Luckily I already have it where I need it! (like the mirror server that runs EnOS repo!). Pretty sure it was there when the ISO was Atlantis…

Yes, it did exist at the time I did my install script, under the exact name eos-shifttime, and I wrote the script for Atlantis.
The exact time I introduced it (along with pahis, which still exists) is Dec 13, 2021.

I know there is a script/package with this function by Xyne, an Arch TU. It should be easy to find with a search (I am not on PC now…).

On my end:
pacman -Qo eos-shifttime
error: No package owns eos-shifttime
pacman -Si eos-shifttime
error: package ‘eos-shifttime’ was not found
Also
pacman -Sl endeavouros | grep eos-shifttime
outputs nothing.

I don’t think it was ever a package in EndeavourOS repository, but an app in the eos-bash-shared package.
EDIT: checked it in the git history. eos-shifttime
was added into package eos-bash-shared
at 2021-Jul-21. First it was named very briefly (about 8 hours ) as shifttime
, then renamed to the current name.
And the app was originally written by @freebird54 who generously admitted it into our repo.

Then the package never existed under the exact name “eos-shifttime”? That means I didn’t test my install script thoroughly at the time.
Anyway, problem solved. Thank you all, and sorry for the confusion…
