EOS dracut conf

Hello!

Fedora user here ^^!

This topic is very interesting, i’ve found it new modules to deactivate with dracut. With the sudo lsinitrd command, you can have a look to the current options of Dracut, and which modules are loaded.

I’ve got plenty of this to test to have fun
sudo dracut --hostonly --force --no-compress --omit “cdrom pollcdrom mdraid debug selinux fcoe fcoe-uefi terminfo watchdog crypt-gpg crypt-loop pcsc ecryptfs rescue watchdog-module network cifs nfs brltty” --omit-drivers “nvidia amd nouveau” --filesystems “ext4 btrfs fat” --nofscks --stdlog 0 --quiet

and i’d like to enable it via dracut.conf .

So i ask here if any Endeavour user could kindly display its *.conf file (there is not on default Fedora) in order i can reproduce it.

Thanks a lot, et vive Linux!

Greetings from France

I am not sure it would be helpful to you on Fedora but it is here.

Thanks a lot!

It’s useful, now i know nbd can be added to my previous list, and i can try zstd compression.

If someone is interested, here is my final list which works pretty well on my Fedora (which is not so different than Arch on basics): the initrd is 24 Mo and as light as possible, i guess.

For information : removing the compress results in a x2 increasement size!

Cheers!
