EOS disappeared from Boot menu; sudo parted -l only shows thumb drive

Hi guys, EOS disappeared from my boot menu again. I know all the steps to get it back, however when I enter sudo parted -l it only returns my bootable EOS thumb drive and not my hard drive and its partitions.

GParted also only shows my thumb drive and its partitions. Clicking the top right drop down menu that should show all your drives only gives me the one thumb drive. If I remove the thumb drive, GParted gives me 0 devices on the list.

I know my SSD is fine because I can boot into other non-EOS operating systems.

Bios set to UEFI, secure boot disabled, fast boot disabled.

Any commands I could try in order to get it to show? Thanks!

I’m also getting this error when loading the thumb drive. It was loading fine but then after a couple reboots it can’t mount the iso.

I also cannot boot any other operating systems anymore, I just get the typical konsole looking black screen for anything I try to load.

First I would try putting the thumb drive into another usb port to see if that works.

still looks very like secure boot… some Firmware have to places to setup secure boot drives and usb boot…

Ok, i got it to load the thumb drive and went through the steps to getting the boot entry back on bios. It does show up on bios, and is first in line. However, when i boot it just shows me a menu with Windows 11, or Reboot to Firmware Settings for Bios. When i reboot and hit f12 for the boot loader menu itself, i select option 1 which is Linux Boot Manager. It immediately goes back to the list of just Windows 11 and Reboot to Firmware. I think somehow the menu entries are not loading correctly? If i select the third option down for Mint Linux, it goes into the Mint boot menu no problem. Here’s the Konsole of what i did, did i select the wrong partitions to reinstall?

If you are using systemd-boot then this partition cannot be the correct ESP.
EnOS requires an ESP of the size 1000 MB for systemd-boot.

Therefore:

Ah, that’s right! I believe the 105mb partition is for Mint. If I want to add both eos plasma and eos cinammon to the boot menu, can I mount both partitions along with the one efi partition and it will work that way? Or do I need to follow all the steps on two separate occasions?

For two separate installations you will have to go through the installer twice, if that is what you mean.
