Hi there. I am a newbie to Arch. I use Niri. Proton Vpn has been working fine until a month ago. I do not know what changed. I have ben using the gui gtk app but recently its just gives me connection timed out. I have been unable to find a CLI program that works for proton.
There is a CLI tool in AUR.

tried that one but it was out of date and woudlnt connect to the servers

You can use openvpn’s command line to connect to protonvpn’s servers. Or NetworkManager.

Well, it’s Sweden-based. Part of 5+9 eyes (and ears). Though Mullvad enjoys a good reputation in the privacy community. At the end you are putting your trust in some entity.
