Endeavour OS is not using my NVIDIA card (1050) and BIOS shows a black screen

There are two issues you need to deal with here.

  1. The latest nvidia drivers dropped support for your hardware. These were released in the last week or two. You will need to install the 580xx driver stack from the AUR. Basically search the AUR for nvidia-580xx and install all those packages.
  2. Linux doesn’t use your NVIDIA card automatically on a hybrid laptop. You need to explicitly tell it to using prime-run, render offloading or some other method. However, you need to the proper drivers installed first.
