I would like to perform a fresh installation of EndeavorOS on my PC by encrypting, during installation, the personal folders located in /home.
Thank you for your help in telling me how to do it.
Last time I checked, calamares (the EndeavourOs installer) could only encrypt the whole system (root and home).
Why not just encrypt the whole system? I don’t really see any downside in this.
But fortunately, what you want can be achieved manually. For example by using systemd-homed. See https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Systemd-homed
