Dual boot Debian 12 and EOS Plasma

I agree that it probably just overwrites it because of that reason. I have no proof other than i know that it destroys the UEFI boot entry every time. I don’t want to bother going through all that is needed to understand why. The only thing that matters to me is that i understand how my hardware works when i do this or i do that. I’m only doing what i know fixes it. I don’t think it’s changing anything to do with where the files are located. It just overwrites the original entry with a new one that happens to be on a different drive.
