When I press ctrl+` it brings up a notification, bottom right. I want to disable it and I couldn’t find where. I’m using i3wm

I see. I don’t have EOS i3wm installed atm, but after a quick look at the config it may be a shortcut bringing back the latest notifications defined in your dunstrc (It is usually located in ~/.config/dunst/).
Look whether you have something like history = ctrl+grave line there and try to comment/remove it if you do.
