Let us see if I understood everything correctly:

  1. The Option TearFree has to be set to auto by default. Other possibilities are “on” or “off”.
    In my file the parameter “true” is set - which is actually not mentioned in the text. But it works too?

  2. Every other option (like “VariableRefresh”) is not active by default - only if I make an entry with an allowed parameter. Correct?

Edit: Just saw that only my file contains “true”, the file of darknetmatrix contains “on” instead.

I think if you don’t create this configuration with the proper settings then nothing works because it’s not told to do anything.

I have not encountered any kind of flickering since I created the 20-amdgpu.conf and so I will mark this thread as solved and thank you all for your help and suggestions! :slight_smile:
