I have an internal wifi in my laptop that is very incompatible and unstable.
I bought a wifi USB adapter and have been happy ever seen. How can I force the use of the USB wifi adapter instead of the internal one?
Easiest way would be to see if you can disable it in BIOS. Or for a laptop system see if there is a switch to turn it off.

no switch, but I hadn’t thought of the BIOS idea, that sounds promising.
Found a switch on the laptop to use with the FN button. it worked!

There’s also a software option, Network Manager will let you specify which device to use:
and I suspect rfkill
will work too.
But - hardware is better.
