Default configuration of pam.d

Hello all,
I am running KDE Plasma 6.3.4 with kernel 6.14.1-zen1-1-zen (64-bit). I have been experimenting with fingerprint unlock and started editing the config files in /etc/pam.d but I messed up

How can I restore them to their default status? FYI I have full access to my system.
These are the files I touched:

kde
kde-fingerprint
login
system-login

Reinstall pambase, util-linux and kscreenlocker. Then go into that folder and overwrite the files with the .pacnew files.

Thank you for the reply. I have reinstalled them with this command:

sudo pacman -S pambase util-linux kscreenlocker

However no .pacnew files appeared in /etc/pam.d.
Any ideas?

Check and see if those files were overwritten with the originals.

I checked that too, and I still see some of my comments in my files, so nothing seems overwritten. I have read somewhere that in order to see the .pacnew files you might need to downgrade first and then upgrade, but I am looking for alternatives.

My only other idea is to make a live usb and extract them from there. WDYT?

You can just extract them from the package files.

They are in /var/cache/pacman/pkg
