Debian Trixie Hard Freeze — It Has Begun

I’m sure the trixie release will be fine. I have been using trixie few months now and I haven’t encountered any problems.

yep the freeze has begun with a release penned it for first week of Aug-2025.
Debian team can you please do the following

  1. Provide all the LTS kernels in your repo’s? 6.12.x, 6.6.x and 6.1.x. Arch does it and it should be easily done for Debian.
  2. Please shift to providing LibreOffice, Firefox, Plasma and a few other components on a more regular basis. The packages which are available are a bit old.

Will love to see how this pans out.
