I knew limine
supports FAT32 on the ESP partition, similar to systemd-boot.
Are you sure? Remember this is what @Svartis did for systemd-boot with FAT32 partition.
I would create a tool for Limine in my case (not for everyone)
- It requires a large boot partition.
- Old Kernel image files are copied and renamed when a pacman hook triggers rebuilding initramfs and a new root snapshot is created.
- Additionally: Deduplication of same images is possible (If two kernel images have the same hashsum, one of them should be removed.)
- Generate / rewrite a boot config of Limine submenu to add a snapshot list.
- If I miss something, I will implement it…
It lets me to change font color, resolution and title in a single boot config.
