Dbus-x11 1.15-02(AUR) update issue

Pamac informed me of an update to dbus-x11. When using Pamac, it does not build and fails with the message as follows:

Resolving dependencies...
Checking inter-conflicts...
Error: unresolvable package conflicts detected
Failed to prepare transaction:
conflicting dependencies:
- dbus-nosystemd and dbus-x11 are in conflict
Transaction cancelled.

dbus-nosystemd is not installed on the system (vbox virtual machine)

It does build manually, but chokes in loading during boot process. It works fine in an Arch VM.
Does anybody have any idea what might be awry here?

Some thoughts:

  • Note that pamac is not recommended to be used for updating, use yay instead.
  • Both of the packages are from AUR, are you sure you need them? Note also that AUR packages are maintained by users, not by the Arch or EndeavourOS team.
  • dbus-x11 is outdated.
