Hello,
I’d like to ask if anyone has experience with installing/running Davinci resolve on Sway.
Im currently having installation issues that are mentioned in a different post, but once I resolve those i’d like to install resolve too

Done that, Resolve installed from AUR and launched witghout any problems, very sweet 
That’s a great start. Now I would like to configure Resolve’s Dual screen layout to my displays respectively.
I have my displays and layout configured in ~/.config/wayland/output
is there any way hot to preallocate Resolve to specific displays and with a specific layout? So i don’t have to rearrange its interface around all the time

Look inside the application_defaults for examples. You get the class, title and instance informations via
swaymsg -t get_tree | grep “search term”
You need to have the application you want to get informations from open for this to work.
Keep in mind that DaVinci have their own support channels.
