Yes, I used this with a Windows XP machine back in the day - and Windows hasn’t moved on THAT much.

Update, went with the kalI method, couldn’t burn a hirens, it wouldn’t boot 
Blanked the passwords, can get into an admin account, but she was using a “Live” account, no ideas yet on how to crack that 
yet…
I have access to all the files and copied all the chrome appdata over to the admin account so I can access bookmarks and history (but not passwords).
So part of the way there.
