Could not update this morning

I tried to update via eos-update this morning and it seemed to download the packages but could not complete the update

delete your cache first: sudo pacman -Scc

then refresh your mirrors via welcome or:

sudo reflector --latest 20 --protocol https --sort rate --save /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist

then try sudo pacman Syu

I did a quick restore of a Snapper snapshot vis btrfs-assistant and rebooted. I went thru the process again, but since the standared BTRFS layout in EOS keeps /var/cache is a seperate subvolume it didn’t download anything new.

Do I need to clear the recent downloads from eos-update and try again??

I was posting while your post came in, so I’m trying that now

Yeah try it. I have no clue how BTRFS works. So you have to wait until another chains in

Your solution worked. I’ve tagged it as the solution for this topic

Great, glad you got it worked. You’re welcome!
