Well the origanal file looks a bit different at the link i gave you there is a download button at the top left with the text download zip file , so if this doesn’t work you will at least have a backup file you can edit (after unzipping it first ofcourse).

No I am saying that it might work but take a look at the file and you will see the difference, not sure if you need the siglevel lines.

Just run yay again and post the output.
Try running sudo reflector --protocol https --verbose --latest 25 --sort rate --save /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist -c gb replacing the gb with an appropriate country code for where you are. Then update again.
We’re getting near the edge of my knowledge now.

This is what the file should have for the repos. If you are using Kde you can open this file with kate if it’s easier than using nano as it has elevated privileges. Nano is not hard. But to save changes i usually use Ctrl + o and then enter and then to exit nano Ctrl + x. Kate on the otherhand will save it automatically when you close the file in /etc/pacman.conf
Here is the pacman.conf file so you can check it against yours.

I’d recommend copying the correct file to /tmp and copy it to the right place using the following terminal commands:
wget -O /tmp/pacman.conf https://0x0.st/8SrQ.txt && sudo cp /tmp/pacman.conf /etc/
or the same with the official link
wget -O /tmp/pacman.conf https://raw.githubusercontent.com/endeavouros-team/EndeavourOS-ISO/refs/heads/main/pacman.conf && sudo cp /tmp/pacman.conf /etc/
Then an editor is not needed.

Great, now you don’t have the [community] repo anymore, that’s correct.
The new problem is the various electronXY packages. Some of them need to be removed.
First list which electron packages you have:
