Connect Bluetooth headphones: PIN required?

I just installed EndeavourOS for the first time. Everything works fine, but I’m having trouble using my Bluetooth headphones. Blueman-manager sees the phone, I can connect, too, but pairing fails. When selecting “Pair” in Blueman, I’m getting a system popup saying

Pairing request for:
<MY HEADPHONES>
(<MAC>)
Confirm value for
authentication: 119064

The headphones have no way for entering the code. After 20 seconds, I’m getting a system popup saying

Pairing failed for
<MY HEADPHONES>
(<MAC>)

and

<MY HEADPHONES>
Disconnected

Any idea what’s going wrong?
