Conflicts updating libcanberra

It is, breaking your system is entirely your decision as well. Falsely informing others stumbling upon this thread by marking a non-solution to a non-problem as a solution is misleading though, especially after having been explained why. One can only hope said others will read beyond that wrongly marked post and learn not to panic and break their systems as well…

No, there wasn’t. You misinterpreted pacman output, as Dalto has explained to you. No shame in that, and fortunately nothing broke this time, but I hope you now finally understand my posts as well.

People stumbling over this thread will also read your concerns and draw their conclusions. The concern and the explanation have only been articulated after I applied the changes and marked the post as solution.
I really don’t get why you are getting so upset.
Calm down and have a cold drink. :beers:

I unmarked the “solution” post because it obviously made you feel bad.

:man_facepalming: enough pls …

Since I can’t imagine there is much more to say on this topic and the initial issue is solved, I think we should let this one reach a conclusion. @Trekkie00, if you are still having an issue and need this re-opened in the future just let a moderator know.
