Cinnamon unlock SSH key on login

I used to have my SSH key unlocked (its passphrase protected) when I logged in but since reinstalling this week It’s not working and I get prompted from a terminal for the passphrase each time.

I’m running Cinnamon with Gnome keyring.

not sure what happened but the problem seemed to have gone away

Weird :face_with_spiral_eyes:

Just in case it happens again, do you have seahorse installed?

I do - normally that’s all I remember needing to install but for a few reboots it was bugging me to enter my passphrase for my SSH key… my GPG key was already managed by the keychain with no problems.
