I am having a problem with certain gnome/gtk apps that fail to register: timeout reached. I have tried using gsettings to set my theme to the generic adwaita theme to no success.
[SOLVED] I fixed it by multiple changes to my GTK theme via lxappearance and reboots. IIRC, three times to fix it. Although, dconf still shows an older theme and icons.
