I am using the latest endeavour os with kde and Linux zen kernel. Whenever I tried to connect to any captive portal wifi, it doesn’t show the “log in” prompt or notification.
Once you connect can you try opening 192.168.1.1 on your browser?

ok, I’ll try to do it tomorrow with my uni’s wifi and report back to you.
Sorry for late response. No, it doesn’t open. It’s keep on loading but doesn’t load at the end.
