Cannot update mirrors - most fail and the rest are slow

I am running the update mirrors from the welcome screen. Most mirrors fail and the ones that don’t are slow. This has improved slightly since running some commands suggested by a lone redditor to update my keys. At first every last one was failing. ( https://www.reddit.com/r/EndeavourOS/comments/12ndu96/issue_updating_mirrors/ ) Maybe I should reinstall? But I can’t fathom that changing anything since all I have done is install and then attempt to update mirrors. Does anyone have any ideas at all? I am happy to provide more information, I just need to know what.

I would just hold off this weekend, Arch is making a change to packaging for the developers. The top important notifications on the forum explains what is going on. So I would just wait until Monday before you try to update the mirrors.

The other change happening this weekend is that Arch Community is going to be emptied, and the contents put into Arch Extra. This will put some strain on each mirror to move the 20,000 Community packages to Extra once they re-initiate their syncing patterns.

Like @jvslice mentioned, hang low. Or find a good mirror in your region and set that. constant.com may be that highly rated mirror to use for the meantime.

Italy ‘just doesn’t work’. I’m using DE\FR.

Read the announcements, folks.
This weekend no updates!!!

Okay, I’m in no rush to get this particular machine going so I will just hold off as suggested. Thanks for the responses.
