Can not see top context menu inside application

Hello guys.

Maybe this is silly but I have a problem. I don’t know this is a problem with DE or not, but whenever there’s context menu that is too long, that menu get cut and I can’t see the top part of menu. Sorry I really can’t explain this properly. This is the screenshot:

See that mouse pointer? I can not reach the top menu. It should have a context menu above Automatic Spell Checking, but I can not see that and my mouse pointer cannot reach that. I think it’s like that on other apps to.

So, my question is, is there solution for this behavior?

So it is a bug from app not from Plasma?

If it’s happening everywhere then it’s probably Plasma and you can report it here, if it’s only happening in LibreOffice, then it’s the application.

Your settings for font size and display are probably incorrect. I don’t have that resolution here.

I’m assuming you have a laptop with a small display. Try adjusting the settings in System Preferences → Display and Screen or Fonts.

That’s a good thought but it should probably work with bigger font sizes for people with vision problems. It may be enough in this case.

You’re absolutely right.
It just occurred to me that I had the same problem opening the menu on my little laptop.
Maybe it helps.

I dont know about other apps because they don’t have menu that get clipped like Libre apps.

Yeah, because my laptop screen is 1366 x 768 so the menu get clipped, unlike yours.

Then it could be either. You could argue that the menu needs reorganising or that the rendering is wrong. I think assuming the later and reporting it to plasma could get it fixed for more applications, so I would probably go for that initially.
