Can you also check this command to see if the avahi service is running. Then press q to quit.

systemctl status avahi-daemon

Please slow down and just wait! you haven’t installed the printer yet.

Okay perfect. Now i want you to go into the browser whre you have connected to localhost and click on administration.

Now click on add printer and a box will open. Type in root for the user name and your password.

Now send me a screen print of that page once you enter root and password in the box and it opens up to the next page.

I don’t see anything other than set default options. So i guess you can click on the top on printers and see if the printer is listed.
