Broken Installer

Hey There,
Im having problems installing endeavourOS, when coming to the partition installation part, i selected to use the whole disk, but trying to select any swap memory as well, it just crashed the installer. Going through it again, ignoring the swap options and typing into the encryption field crashed the installer as well.
After that I just thought * it, and installed it with the minimum requirements, which lead to crashing when trying to set the bootloader.

Any ideas what could have gone wrong?

Info about system and version and stuff:
ISO: 2024.09.22
Booting from a 32 GB usb-stick

Hardware:
Processors: 8 × Intel® Core™ i7-9700 CPU @ 3.00GHz
Memory: 31.1 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti/PCIe/SSE2

Sounds like corrupted image download. Did you check Sha512sum or the GPG sig file after download?

good idea, will check tomorrow, when I’m back home

When you say “crash”, do you mean it freezes or do you mean it closes abruptly?

it just closes without any message, warning whatsoever

So it did kill the bootloader as i feared (no dualboot i guess, wanted to ditch windows for a long time anyway)
The Sha512sum is correct though.
I flashed the usb-stick again, with a fresh download, because the PC couldn’t boot anymore.
It worked out of the box. So probably something went wrong when flashing the first time.
