Thanks, but I’m not skilled enough to fiddle with my kernel. At least I now know the origin of the problem:

Currently __acpi_video_get_backlight_type() returns vendor on these
laptops, leading to an empty /sys/class/backlight.

You just need to download these two files and then

sudo pacman -U linux-6.1.6.arch1-3.1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst linux-headers-6.1.6.arch1-3.1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst

in the folder where those files were downloaded.

Brightness control is functional after update to kernel 6.1.9-arch-1-2.
