Bricked install after excluding pacman packgaes with yay

Hi there,
I recently decided to upgrade packages with yay, but since I faced some errors when updating all of them, so I chose to exclude all the packages from aur and extra (pulled updates only from endeavouros and core i think).

In hindsight it was pretty dumb, especially since I kind of overlooked a warning about Nvidia drivers not being updated. I proceeded to reboot and now it gets stuck on the tests (or whatever its called) screen after Reached target graphical interface.

From a bit googling it seems to be the issue of the drivers version mismatch, but here comes my question: Is there any way I can access the terminal from that place? I’m looking for some kind of recovery mode where I could update all the packages and attempt fixing the issue.

I am sorry if this question is more about arch itself, but I’d gladly accept any tips that would save me from reinstalling the system.

Thanks a lot in advance,
fajfaj.

You can arch-chroot into the system and recover the system, see
