Boot/efi not deleteing

Hello EOS comunity
I decided to do a fresh EOS install (was running Xfce with dualboot with Win10) on my old Lenovo L340 laptop. Backup /home. Then went into Win10 and deleted all linux partiotions:

Then reboot with liveUSB, but when I went into BIOS I notice endevouos boot partition still active!?! And when I tried to boot it it goes to blank screen:

How? It doesn’t make sense . I deleted it! It’s gone!
But it is not:

I would proceed with EOS install anyway, thinking grub will fix it. Maybe? But I don,t want to damage Win MBR/efi. Then I’ll have to install Win 10 again.
I tried rebuilding Win10 efi with bootrec ( /FixMbr, /FixBoot, /ScanOS, and /RebuildBcd) but it did not do any change.
What to do? Should I trust grub to fix it?

That just means the EFI entry is there. Not the partition itself.

You can remove it with efibootmgr

This is a Linux command. There is No more linux on this laptop. Run it from the liveUSB before install?

Yes. You can run it from the live usb/iso.

I have a Lenovo myself - ThinkPad - and it allows me to delete/manage boot entries from within the BIOS. So, this may be another option.

Yes. I manage to delete the entry using liveUSB with “” sudo efibootmgr -b ‘bootnum’ -B “” command. When I reboot the entry is gone in BIOS.
I did use this guide: https://www.linuxbabe.com/command-line/how-to-use-linux-efibootmgr-examples
Thank you dalto!
