Barely started this and it is giving me chills with just how spot on it describes my thinking/memory. I know both my nanna’s had dementia. Hopefully it isn’t but I do try keep my mind active and love learning things so hopefully that helps me a bit if it is.

I am half way through and its interesting to see how (in the book where I am now, M$ & Google have reared their ugly heads) his ‘For Humanity’ web is being consumed by commerce and turned into the ever less useful billboard it has now almost totally become

Thanks for the referral on this. I never picked it up because, well, cats. I’m not cat person. Actually not a pet person at all. But I thoroughly enjoyed it. I think it would have been a great premise for a book even without the cats and dolphins.
That got me looking at his back catalog and I’ve just started the Old Man’s War series. Given that the 75-year-old minimum age for joining the military in the series is just around the corner for me, I’m finding it particularly interesting.
Starter Villain was so enjoyable for me, I was thinking of giving it as a gift to my mom. She reads a lot, but usually not this type of book, but I hope that the humor will resonate with her. Sadly, the book has not been translated to my mother tongue, so I need to wait.
