Bluetooth scan not showing anything, also not able to connect to paired devices

My bluetooth suddenly stopped working. As far as I am aware I did not update anything to trigger it. Scanning does not show any devices at all. My phone picks up lots of devices. I am also not able to connect to already paired devices.

btmon ouput while trying to connect:

bluetoothd[667]: = src/profile.c:record_cb() Unable to get Hands-Free Voice gateway SDP record: Host is down

The last line is kind of suspicious. Also, the open/close lines are weird they keep coming sometimes, but not always, not sure when they appear yet.

I haven’t found anything else suspicious in any logs, but don’t remember all the places I’ve looked, and posting all of it would make this a huge post, so I will post any logs upon request.

I bought a bluetooth dongle to make sure it’s not a hardware issue, but it has the same problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I really need my headset to work

EDIT: I’ve also restarted both the whole system and any related services I can think of multiple times.
